Cross Lanzarote by bike
Connect the island’s different regions via secondary roads, tracks and changing landscapes.
A week of independent travel through Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with mountain bikes, a roadbook, GPS, luggage transfers and local assistance. Each stage reveals another side of the island: coastal villages, volcanic landscapes, beaches, scenic roads and wide-open spaces.
This week-long tour takes you through Lanzarote’s volcanic lands and on to La Graciosa, in six main stages designed for travellers who enjoy progressing at their own pace.
Cross northern coastal villages, La Graciosa’s sandy tracks, Famara’s terrain, Timanfaya’s lunar landscapes and the south’s scenic roads. Every day offers a different atmosphere of effort, discovery and pauses facing the ocean.
We provide mountain bikes, arrange luggage transport between accommodation and give you all the necessary information: a French-language roadbook, GPS and maps. Cycle independently while knowing local assistance remains available throughout your trip.
Create our cycling trip

Connect the island’s different regions via secondary roads, tracks and changing landscapes.

Cycle through Lanzarote’s black and glowing red lands, as far as the surroundings of Timanfaya.

An almost car-free island, sandy tracks, wild beaches and a real sense of switching off.

Ride beside cliffs, the ocean and long beaches popular with surfers.

Arrecife, Guatiza, Arrieta, Punta Mujeres, Órzola, Yaiza and Femés mark your journey.

Luggage transfers, prepared equipment, GPS and local assistance let you focus on the pleasure of riding.
Welcome to LanzaroteOn arrival at Lanzarote Airport, a taxi takes you to your accommodation in Puerto del Carmen, a lively seaside resort known for its beaches and seafront.
Depending on your arrival time, meet our local representative in the afternoon or evening. They introduce the tour, provide your equipment and explain the roadbook, GPS and assistance during your stay.
Check-in and first night in Puerto del Carmen.
Rest and a gentle warm-upThis free day lets you recover from the journey and familiarise yourself with your surroundings before the main cycling stages begin.
Enjoy the beach, stroll along the seafront, discover cafés and shops or take a first bike ride to get used to your equipment.
Overnight stay in Puerto del Carmen.
Arrecife · east coast · fishing villagesYour first main cycling stage takes you from southeastern Lanzarote to the north. Cross Arrecife, the capital, before gradually following the coast.
The route passes through typical villages such as Guatiza, Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, former fishing villages retaining a peaceful local atmosphere.
Taking less-frequented routes, continue to Órzola, a small port at the island’s northern tip, between cliffs and wild beaches.
Overnight stay in Órzola.
Ferry · sandy tracks · beachesIn the morning, board the ferry to La Graciosa, a small island north of Lanzarote known for its unspoilt atmosphere.
Here, almost no roads are paved: ride on sandy tracks among volcanoes, beaches and crystal-clear waters. The pace is deliberately gentler to enjoy the landscapes, swim and explore the surroundings of Caleta de Sebo.
A stop at a local restaurant offers a taste of seafood before continuing your leisurely exploration.
Overnight stay in Caleta de Sebo.
Return to Lanzarote · northern terrainAfter the return ferry to Lanzarote, begin a more demanding stage towards Famara.
The itinerary involves greater elevation changes but offers beautiful views of northern Lanzarote. As the day progresses, the terrain gives way to the wide vistas of Famara Bay, dominated by cliffs and known for its long beach.
Check into your accommodation and enjoy a free evening facing the ocean.
Overnight stay in Famara.
Volcanoes · Yaiza · south coastThe longest stage crosses some of Lanzarote’s most spectacular landscapes.
Progress through the volcanic lands of the centre and south, around Timanfaya National Park, before reaching Yaiza village.
Continue to Playa Blanca in the island’s south, where the ocean and more open landscapes sharply contrast with the black lands crossed during the stage.
Overnight stay in Playa Blanca.
Femés · final climbThis final cycling stage takes you towards Femés, perched in the heights of southern Lanzarote.
The climb is one of the trip’s final challenges, rewarded by superb panoramic views. After the effort, the descent gradually brings you back to Puerto del Carmen.
Return to your starting point for a final evening on the island and enjoy reflecting on how far you have travelled since arrival.
Overnight stay in Puerto del Carmen.
End of the tour or extensionYou have two options: take your return flight after some final relaxation, or extend your stay to discover Lanzarote at your own pace.
An extension can be added to enjoy more beaches, villages and cultural sites, or simply a few days’ rest after your cycling adventure.

Tell us your dates, number of travellers and cycling ability. We will check accommodation, equipment and transfer availability to send you a suitable proposal.
